350 cc 'Royal Enfield' motorcycle will be available in the market from now on. The price of which can fall between 4.5 lakh to 5.5 lakh rupees.
Ifad Motors is bringing Royal Enfield to Bangladesh market. According to the company, a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility under its own management has been set up at Chauddagram, Comilla to manufacture Royal Enfield capable of producing world-class motorcycles.
Motorcycles above 165 cc were banned in Bangladesh. However, last year the government allowed motorcycles up to 375 cc to run in the country.
But in that case, the condition is that these motorcycles must be made in the country.
Considering the demand for Royal Enfield motorcycles among the bike lovers of the country due to relaxation of government policies, IFAD Motors has announced the production and marketing of this bike in the country.
Royal Enfield is considered by many to be the brand of India. Because it has become so associated with Indian bikers, it is unknown to many that it did not originate in India.
Royal Enfield has its roots in the UK. Royal Enfield launched in 1901. Two British entrepreneurs, Bob Walker Smith and Albert Eddy, built this motorcycle.

In 1896 Albert Eddy received an order to manufacture machinery for the Royal Small Arms Factory at Enfield, Middlesex. From here the name Royal Enfield was born.
This year they bought a company called New Enfield Cycle Company Limited. From here in 1897, Royal Enfield started manufacturing all kinds of bicycle equipment.
As motorized bicycles gradually became popular in England, the Enfield Company also decided to manufacture motorcycles.
After two years of trying, Royal Enfield launched their first motorbike in 1901. The power of this 239 cc motorbike was 11.2 horsepower (hp).
However, it was their V-twin 297 cc engined motorcycle produced in 1909 that brought success to the Royal Enfield.
Then when the First World War started, motorcycles were in great demand for battlefield use. At that time Royal Enfield came up with a very large motorcycle suitable for the battlefield. It was a 770cc and 6hp VV-twin motorcycle.
During the war, Royal Enfield supplied these motorcycles not only to the British military but also to the armies of other Allies like Belgium, France, USA and Russia.
These motorbikes were very popular with the armies of various countries due to their sturdy structure and mechanical reliability.
Royal Enfield motorcycles were popular on the battlefield not only during World War I but also during World War II. The Royal Enfield Company began manufacturing military grade motorcycles under contract to the British government.
At that time they manufactured motorcycles with 250 cc, 350 cc and 570 cc engines. Among these, the Royal Enfield WD/RE model can be parachuted from a plane.
Royal Enfield introduced new models of bikes after the war. At this time, the famous model "Bullet" came to the market. 350 and 500 cc bullets became popular in a very short time.
Next came the larger Royal Enfield Super Meteor and Super Meteor Constellation. Each of these was 700 cc. In 1949, the first 350 cc Bullet hit the Indian market. The country's military initially brought these bikes to India for military use.
The Indian Army ordered the first 800 units of the Bullet 350 to patrol the country's borders.
Due to its popularity in the Indian market, Royal Enfield started production in 1955 in a joint venture with Madras Motors at an additional factory in Chennai. Initially motorbike assembling was done in this factory.
However, complete motorcycles began to be manufactured in India from 1962 onwards.
Currently Royal Enfield is sold in more than 50 countries around the world. Royal Enfield bikes are world renowned mainly for their quality and durability. Various models of CC motorcycles are available in the market.
Among them the 350 cc engine Bullet, Classic, Meteor and Hunter, 411 cc Scrum, 450 cc Guerrilla, Himalaya and 650 cc Shortgun, Super Meteor, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 models are very popular.
As motorbikes up to 375 cc are allowed in Bangladesh, Royal Enfield's Bullet, Classic, Meteor and Hunter models are expected to be available in the country. Because each of them is 350 cc.
Each of the Royal Enfield bikes in the 350 cc category has different features. The Bullet, Classic and Hunter models will be powered by the improved EFI engine.
The Classic 350 model has a single cylinder and aircooled 349 cc engine. It produces 20.2 bhp of horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
Hunter 350 model bike has round headlight in front, two rear view mirrors on both sides of handlebar, turn indicator and console.

On the other hand the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a very old fashioned motorbike. The current version of the bike uses dual channel ABS braking system. This braking system helps the bike to ride and stop smoothly even on bad roads. The bike is mainly popular for long trips.
On the other hand, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is the elite bike of the modern genre. Its classic style console panel and powerful round headlights are quite attractive.
