Ingredients:
1. 500 grams (1 pound/half kg) eggs = 2.
2. Sugar = 50 grams.
3. Orange emulsion = 1 teaspoon.
4. Orange food color - 1/2 drop (optional).
5. Flour = 40 grams.
6. Cornflour = 10 grams.
7. Milk powder = 10 grams.
8. Baking powder = 1/2 teaspoon.
9. Vile = 10 ml.
10. Cake mold = 6"
Sugar Syrup:
1. Water / Milk- 100 ml.
2. Sugar 50 grams.
3. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 160 degrees for 10 minutes.
Cake Decoration: (According to 1 pound cake)
1. Whipped cream (180-300) grams.
2. Milk powder (1/2 tablespoon to 1 tablespoon of milk powder for 100 grams of whipped cream/no problem if milk powder is more or less).
Preparation method:
First, sift all the dry ingredients and keep them aside. In a dry bowl, beat the eggs and sugar on medium speed to make a meringue. Do not pour the sugar completely, but add it little by little. Add the emulsion and food color to the meringue and beat for 5 seconds on medium speed.
Now sift the dry ingredients 2/3 times and mix them slowly with a spatula in a folding motion. Remember not to mix too vigorously. Otherwise, the egg foam will decrease. Finally, mix in the oil with a spatula. After adding oil, do not mix too vigorously. Pour the batter into the mold and tap it 2/3 times. If you tap too much, the cake will settle.
Finally, use a cake tester to swirl the batter around to get bubbles out of the cake. Then bake.
